As usual, we had 3 sessions, Prepared Speech Session, Table Topics Session, and Evaluation Session.
The first speaker, Azusa, was the first time to make a speech in front of an audience in person. She always gave a speech on zoom, but we were very happy to hear her speech directly. She told us about her experience with swimming and how important it is to continue to take a step.
The second speaker, Hiro, shared us with his story about his son. His son wants to be a scientist. Their stories were heart-warming.
The third speaker, Andy, talked about his father. He shared his memory about asking his father about his weird habit, which led to his father telling him beautiful stories about his youth, something that meant a lot to Andy. We felt the relationships with our family were so important.
In the Table Topics Session, Shunting asked us many questions about “spring” such as “What are your favorite things in spring?” and “What’s your spring activity?” Her choices matched the season, so it was easy for us to answer.
Caliph, the General Evaluator, did an excellent job. He always had a good atmosphere and feedbacked constructive evaluation for the meeting. Chiho was in charge of the Ah-counter instead of Taka. She helps us every time, and we appreciate her efforts.
We had no guests, and there were few members, but attending the meeting every time will enable us to brush up on our skills.
